  13. "File copy error, C:\SB16\WINDRV\CTCCW.DLL cannot be found" when 
  14. Windows execute WINSETUP.EXE to setup the SB16 drivers and applications.

  16. Description
  17. -----------
  18. SB16 Basic's user will encounter the above-mentioned problem after completing 
  19. installation from DOS and startup Windows.  The problem occurs whereby an 
  20. additional line was added in the [Windows] section of the WINSETUP.INF file in 
  21. the SB16 directory:

  24. windrv\ctres.dll
  25. windrv\ctccw.dll    --->    Additional line
  26. schedule\bwcc.dll
  27.  
  28. Solution/Action
  29. ---------------
  30. This problem can be solved by removing the additonal line in the 
  31. WINSETUP.INF file.  Note that the CTCCWDLL file is NOT REQUIRED by any 
  32. of the software bundled and will still allows to complete the installation without 
  33. any further problems.  This problem only occurs in installation disk with the 
  34. following DISK.ID:

  36. Sound Blaster 16 BASIC
  37. SB16-FW-03-ENG (Revision 2)
  38. Sound Blaster 16 Disk #1
  39.  
  40. This error will be corrected in new installation disk with DISK.ID "SB16-FW-03-
  41. ENG (Revision 3)".
